Being a parent to teens and young adults also presents a unique set of challenges and can often feel like it's hard to know what the right way to offer support, guidance, and boundaries.

Navigating school, schedules, social dynamics, and new environments often increase stress which can lead to anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and depression. Learning how to manage stress, regulate emotions, and climb out of depression are critical skills to live thrive and become life long skills.

Build Confidence & Resilience

Facing new challenges can be scary. Learning how to succeed also means learning how to be ok with fail and learn from those experience. Its through these experience we gain confidence, resiliences, and security in ourselves.  

Transitions and Loss

Helping adolescents navigate school changes, developmental changes, moves, family transitions, and loss. It can be hard to know how to talk about the stress of these events and having the right support can help.

Abuse/Curiosity

It is not uncommon for adolescents to be curious or experiment with substances. Having a place to talk about those curiosities and choice and important for creating safety and understanding.

A big developmental marker of adolescence is understanding who you are and how to communicate you what you want and what your preferences are.
