About me
I became a therapist out of a lifelong interest in people, relationships, and what actually helps us change. I believe that healthy, connected relationships—with ourselves and others—are foundational to a meaningful life. And when those relationships feel strained, distant, or stuck, the isolation can be profound.
Like many people, I’ve wished for quick fixes—a way to skip the hard parts and be transformed. The process of going through something—taking time to understand yourself with honesty and care—creates something lasting that no one can take from you.
Early in my career, I saw that meaningful change doesn’t come from “fixing” people or rushing them toward change. It comes from steady work in a relationship where you can tell the truth, face what’s difficult, and try something new—without being overwhelmed or judged. That’s the kind of therapy I aim to provide.
I’ve been practicing for over a decade, specializing in depth-oriented therapy for high-functioning individuals and couples. My training is grounded in relational psychodynamic therapy and PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy). I also draw from attachment theory, Internal Family Systems / parts work, somatic approaches, trauma-informed care, and CBT/mindfulness tools—using what’s useful and staying oriented toward real change in daily life.
I’m also a therapist with The School of Life, a global organization founded in London that brings philosophy and psychology into everyday life. That partnership reflects my commitment to therapy that’s intellectually rigorous and genuinely useful.
Outside of my practice, I’m drawn to surfing, travel, and staying active—things that keep me connected to what matters beyond the therapy room.
I offer online therapy throughout California and look forward to the possibility of working together.
