AUTHENTICITY, ALIVENESS, and CONNECTION are vital ingredients to living a healthy and meaningful life. Unfortunately these qualities do not often receive the proper attention needed to flourish. This can result in feeling anxious, depressed, conflicted, numb or angry, amongst other things. Therapy provides a unique opportunity to explore the cut-off parts of yourself and to meet life's twists and turns with creativity and authenticity.
I practice through a relational, integrative, mind-body approach. Each session is customized for the unique moment that arises when we sit together. I hold the client-therapist relationship as a focal point of the work. My work is also informed by the most current research in attachment theory and neuroscience. Research tells us that the quality of the relationship between client and therapist is one of the biggest markers of effective therapy. Neuroscience and attachment theory have also discovered that our brains actually develop through relationships with others. By building a safe, compassionate, and attuned relationship with you I aspire to support your own self exploration and development into an authentic expression of who you are.
